I work out what your business is losing online, then build the thing that fixes it.

Web design, web development, and the analytics to show it worked. Websites and mobile applications, every one of them custom, every one of them mine start to finish. Projects begin at $5,000.

Taking one new project at a time. Or just email ashleymbaht@icloud.com.

These are the problems I get called about.

Every one was found on a real business website. If one of them is yours, it is fixable.

  1. 01 A booking page that takes eleven seconds to open on a phone.
  2. 02 Enquiries that sit unanswered because the notification goes nowhere.
  3. 03 A menu saved as a photograph, invisible to every search engine.
  4. 04 Thirty percent of every order going to an app that keeps the customer.
  5. 05 One spreadsheet that would end the business if it were deleted.
  6. 06 A website that has been down since Tuesday and nobody knew.

How I work, on every project.

None of this is an upgrade. It is what building the thing properly means, and it applies to the smallest project I take as much as the largest.

It starts with the problem
Before anything is designed I work out where your business is losing people online, and what fixing that is worth to you.
Every build is custom
I do not keep templates. There is no version of this where you get somebody else’s website with your logo dropped on it, at any price.
Built to be found
Search setup and indexing are part of building the thing properly, not an upsell after it is live.
Analytics you can actually read
Your own dashboard, in plain language, so you can see what the site is doing without asking me. It comes with every build.
Works on a bad phone
A cheap handset on one bar of signal is where a great many of your customers are standing.
One person answering
Me, from the first message until long after launch. No account manager, no handover, no queue.

What makes a project bigger.

The price follows the size of the job. These are the things that grow it.

  • Bookings, payments or customer accounts
  • A mobile app, for your customers or for your staff
  • An internal tool that replaces the spreadsheets
  • Connecting to software you already run
  • More than one location, or more than one language
  • Work that carries on after launch

Every project starts at $5,000.

There is no basic version and no cheaper tier, because I do not sell one. The smallest project I will take is still designed for your business from nothing, built properly, and handed over with your own analytics.

Past that, the price depends on your business, so I am not going to guess it on a web page. We spend an hour on a call, and then you get one fixed figure in writing. It does not move unless you ask for something new.

For scale: most projects land between $5,000 and $25,000, and the ones with a mobile application or an internal tool behind them have gone past that. What decides it is how much of your business the thing has to carry, which is what the call is for.

If I cannot see how the work earns its cost back, I will tell you that on the call, before you have spent anything.

United States dollars. Half to begin, half on hand over.

The call is an hour, and it is free.

  • Who your customers are, and roughly how old they are
  • How they reach you now: a call, a text, an email, a form
  • What they do before they buy, and where they give up
  • What I would build for that, and what it costs

Book the call

Six stages. No surprises.

  1. 01

    The call

An hour about your business and your customers, before anything is designed.

  2. 02

    The figure

A fixed scope, one fixed price and a date, in writing.

  3. 03

    Design

You see it before it is built, and you say what you think.

  4. 04

    Build

The work itself, with word from me at every stage rather than at the end.

  5. 05

    Test

On real phones, on slow connections, before anybody else sees it.

  6. 06

    Hand over

The keys, the dashboard, the documentation, and someone who still answers.

Questions I get asked first.

How much does a website cost?
Projects start at $5,000. Most land between $5,000 and $25,000, and the final figure is agreed after a one hour call, in writing, before any work begins.
Is there a cheaper package?
No. There is no basic tier and no template option, because I do not sell one. The smallest project I take is still designed for your business from nothing.
What is included in the price?
Design, build, launch, search setup and indexing so you can be found, and your own analytics dashboard. Documentation you own, and one person answering afterwards.
Do you build mobile applications as well as websites?
Yes. Websites, mobile applications for customers or staff, and internal tools that replace spreadsheets. Often a project is more than one of those.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the size of the job, and you get a date in writing along with the price. Nothing starts until the scope, the figure and the date are agreed.

Why business websites lose money.

I write up what I find. These are the long versions.

Every note

The work.

Case studies go here as projects finish. The first three are in progress, and I would rather show you nothing than show you someone else's.

Tell me what is broken.

Or what you want built. Two sentences is plenty. I read every message myself, reply within one working day, and the next step is the call.
